At Elmcroft Tree Nursery we endeavour to grow our trees from seeds collected within the UK. Trees produced from this seed will flower and fruit in tune with our seasons ensuring our wildlife benefit from this hedgerow larder in season.
We take care to only collect from trees and shrubs we know have not been imported and planted in our countryside.

British Trees for British Woodlands and Hedgerows. Customers requiring specific local provenance must realise that as a commercial nursery we are unable to collect seed on chance nationwide to satisfy their need.
We acknowledge “Local Provenance” is preferred but customers need to be aware that native seed is not produced in this country every season, due to our varied weather patterns and other factors.
